Lord Yatta is a tattoo artist and painter, based in Atlanta, Georgia. He discovered his passion for creative self-expression as a young child, and cultivated his craft through performance arts schooling, art college, and apprenticeships. He began a career in tattooing in 1994, and later became an owner of Vantage Pointe Studios in Atlanta for eight years. Along with custom tattoos, Lord Yatta creates in other fine art mediums, such as painting on canvas, recycled skateboards, and block printing. He has displayed his artwork in several solo and group shows, including exhibitions at the historical Hammonds House, and the High Museum of Art in Atlanta.
